Si cercano volontari per tre nuovi progetti di volontariato in Belgio!

1. Association des Compagnons;  Bâtisseurs  - 2010-BEFR-35
L’ associazione organizza volontariato, campi di lavoro per giovani, attività per disabili, un centro di ricreazione e tante altre cose. Il volontario dovrà iniziare il progetto il 1.2.2012, e la durata è di un anno, durante questo anno il volontario potrà collaborare e partecipare a tutte le attività dell’associazione, imparare la lingua del posto, conoscere tanti giovani e fare un’esperienza all’ interno di un’associazione di volontario.

2. Maison des Jeunes, Marche-en-Famenne – 2010-BEFR-36
Questo progetto è organizzato dall’ associazione “Maison des Jeunes”, che è all’interno di un centro giovanile nella città di Marche-en-Famenne quale si trovà al sud del Belgio.
Il volontario potrà partecipare alle attività del centro, che focalizzano sopratutto a coinvolgere giovani  del posto nelle attività sulla promozione delle cittadinanza, del volontariato e della solidarietà. Si organizzano concerti, mostre, corsi e laboratori, il volontario potrà partecipare e organizzare a queste attività.

3. Terrain d’Aventure du Pèri – 2010-BEFR-37
Il “campo giochi di Pèri” è un centro per bambini e giovani, dove possono andare per imparare, stare, giocare, trattenersi con gli altri e scambiare conoscenze e idee.
Il campo ospita da 10 a 60 bambini e giovani di età compresa tra i 5 e i 26 anni. Il centro inoltre è riconosciuto dal comune della città come centro giovanile, con lo scopo di promuovere la solidarietà, la cittadinanza attiva e il confronto tra bambini e giovani.
Il volontario potrà aiutare a organizzare le giornate all’interno del campo giochi, pensare ed organizzare laboratori, mostre, concerti insieme ai giovani utenti.

Estate 2012 – Transilvania!

Progetto di volontariato di 2 mesi in Transilvania, Romania, il progetto si terrà in un villagio della Transilvania in mezzo alle montagne “Apuseni”. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apuseni_Mountains)

Due sono gli scopi di questo progetto: 1. Far conoscere la Romania ai volontari europei, scoprire la bellezza della natura, delle montagne e del villaggio e vivere un’esperienza unica all’interno del villaggio non come ospiti, ma come parte della comunità locale. 2. Aiutare proprio a questa comunità di trovare nuove possibilità ed energia per pubblicizzare la propria città per attirare turisti.

I compiti del volontario sono vari, dall’aiuto alla ricostruzione di varie case tipiche, fino alla costruzione di un sito web/Blog per il villaggio, dove, con l’aiuto del volontario, gli abitati potranno mettere foto e scrivere articoli sul lavoro fatto.

I criteri sono di parlare inglese, avere abilità al computer e internet, avere una conoscenza minima sul tema dell’architettura e un grande interesse a scoprire la Romania.

Volontariato in Austria – sprichst du deutsch?

L’associazione GRENZENLOS a Vienna chiuderà presto la selezione per il nuovo volontario all’interno del progetto “Greenpeace” 2010-AT-39.

Questo progetto consiste nella collaborazione con l’ associazione ambientale conosciuta in tutto il mondo: Greenpeace.
Il volontario potrà entrare nel meccanismo dell’associazione, organizzare incontri tematici, aiutare a promuovere l’associazione e difendere l’ambiente attivamente.

Il progetto sarà applicato all’Agenzia Nazionale austriaca il 1 Novembre, e se approvato avrà inizio il 1.02.2012, con una durata di 12 mesi.

Dal 13 al 22 Gennaio 2012 Innsbruck ospiterà la prima volta i Giochi Olimpici Invernali della Gioventù 2012. Oltre al normale programma sportivo sono previsti una serie di eventi culturali che daranno vita  a una vera e propria festa dello sport, in questo contesto  si inserisce il progetto EVS di gruppo  “Youth Olympic Games 2012” che ospiterà 30 giovani provenienti da 15 diversi Paesi europei. I volontari SVE parteciperanno alla preparazione, realizzazione e valutazione dei seguenti eventi:  (Youth media lab, Youth world ‘mile, Youth sustainability project, Youth arts project, youth  competence project, Youth festival 2012). I volontari SVE non solo parteciperanno alla organizzazione degli eventi da dietro le quinte ma anche avranno l’opportunità di essere molto vicini ai giochi stessi come ospiti nel loro tempo libero e come volontari direttamente sul posto.

The city: The Town of Pau counts 80.000 inhabitants. It is the main city of Pau-Pyrenees town agglomeration gathering 14 communes and 140.000 inhabitants approximately. The city is located in South-west, very close to the Pyrenees, the Spanish border and the Atlantic Ocean. Pau in the capital of department of the Pyrenees Atlantiques and it is the second town of Aquitaine after Bordeaux and the third of South-west with Toulouse and Bordeaux.

Housing: The volunteer will be living in Pau, with the three other volunteers in a residence of young people managed by association Habitat Young people Pau the Pyrenees. The residence counts 75 residences and is located in full heart of the city near shops and cultural places like museums, cinemas and, library, hall Gymnasium and so on.

The volunteer will be logged in an apartment for two in a individual room. The apartment is equipped with kitchenette and bathroom. The volunteers will have accesses to collective spaces which lay out of a computer room with connection Internet, a laundry, a professional kitchen entirely equipped where the volunteers will share the meals with the other inhabitants of the residence, an associative bar with audio-visual equipment and all the activities of the residence (babyfoot, billar, hall sports, library…).

The volunteer is totally free in his appartment and collective spaces in the respect of others.

Tasks: The volunteer will help the socioeducational team made up of social workers and socioeducational organizers. There is always a referent to follow the volunteer. The volunteer will help the referent in the preparation of the educational activities, will contribute to the installation of animations and will be able to motivate the residents. Indeed, many of them do not take part in animations, or have a “consuming” behaviour. The volunteer will help to motivate the residents and encourage them to become “actors”, by proposing new activities and helping in the preparation. The project of the volunteer will be thus of: ” Contribution to the animation of the collective places: The residences of Pau and Gelos have various collective places (living room, cooking workshops, computer room, bar) that are perfect for animations and educational activities. Those activities could be implemented in particular in the bar, with is a very nice place actually not sufficiently used by the residents. ” To encourage the participation of the residents The volunteer will help the social workers to mobilize the young people and to increase their participation and their implication in the activities. It will be able either in collaboration with the team, with our partners, or in autonomy, by implementing activities asked by the youngsters. ” Communication: The volunteer will take part in the creation of the tools of communication dedicated to animations (flyers, posters, programs…) The young residents are present mainly in the evenings, the volunteer will work 4 days per week: From Monday until Thursday, from 14h to 22h (including the pause meal). The volunteer will work 2 days in Pau and 2 days with Gelos. He will take part in regular team meetings Thursday afternoon We do not have a special profile of volunteer and all the candidatures are welcome. We will receive all the candidatures via Internet. To ensure an objective selection during recruitment we ask the volunteers to send their data and motivation letter separately. So strengthening the network objectives, recruitment will be carried out by a commission of all hosting projects and the contact point organization . The only criteria we will attach a greater importance will be the motivation of the volunteer and the importance of this project for its future. We will develop the candidates showing dynamism, curiosity and motivation to integrate into our project.

EVS a Škofja Loka, Slovenia

• Attività del progetto: Zavod O, the local youth center, is strongly connected to newly established Youth Daily Center Trata. The fundamental idea of MDC Trata (Youth Daily Center Trata) is based on the desire to offer a programme of activities to the generation/ group of young people who, in the area of Trata (the suburb of Škofja Loka), spend their free time aimlessly and in a disorganised way, in idleness and boredom.  Besides, the MDC program aims to provide support to learners with specific learning needs and to those with adolescent problems. The support is meant to be provided both at the individual level – working with each individual, as well as in cooperation with parents and all family. Our aim is the improvement of learners’ working habits and the change of their value system, which would be achieved with different motivation-raising methods, such as learning through games, creativity etc.. The programme includes group work and activities with adolescents, cooperation among different institutions, learning help, advisory work, holiday camps, daily excursions. The MDC Trata operates under the responsibility of two coordinators and carefully selected external co-workes and volunteers. The list below contains some of the crucial problems we are focusing on and corresponding activities for their potential correction.. For most of the listed activities the help of local volunteers is welcome and is going to be upgraded with the help of EVS volunteers. That would give the daily youth center the international dimension. The problems are grouped in the following four categories: 1. Children are left alone from different reasons (absence or work overload of parents etc.) Activities to correct these problems:- film, photography,- drama, circus workshops,- comics, graffiti etc-drawing workshops,- manufacturing/hand-making of small and useful objects,- games (indoor, outdoor),- communication workshops,- cooking workshops,- music workshops,- project work: charity work (helping pensioners, handicapped etc.),- camps, excursions. 2. Learning difficulties, lack of creativity, etc. Activities:- Support-lessons for different subject in school,- motivation-raising converstations – in groups and indvidually. 3. Lack of sport/physical exercises etc. Activities: – sports (indoor, outdoor),- dance workshops,- simple work/tasks (project – helping neighbours, elderly etc). 4. Family violence, domestic abuse. Activities: – individual conversations with abused children and their parents, – finding contacts with corresponding institutions EVS volunteers are expected to help with the realisation of the program in MDC Trata two or three times per week – according to the agreement. The Center opening time is from 13:00 to 19:00 every day, except weekends. It is open also during school holidays.
